GUEST WRITER: Where are you?

Where are you?

by Joshua Nicholas

Today's topic is a question. So many people are trying so hard to get results in a strange land. Before God created man, He first created places. The place you are, determines what happen to the person you are. For this reason, you can't excel outside the place you are meant to be. This is the most guarded secret to success. For every divine purpose on earth, there is a divine place for its accomplishment.

 I believe this fiction story will explain further;

A mother and a baby camel were lying around under a tree in a zoo.

Then the baby camel asked, “Why do camels

have humps?”

The mother camel considered this and said, “We are desert animals so we have the humps to store water so we can survive with very little water.”

The baby camel thought for a moment then said, “Ok…why are our legs long and our feet rounded?”

The mama replied, “They are meant for walking in the desert.” The baby paused. After a beat, the camel asked, “Why are our eyelashes long? Sometimes they get in my way.”

The mama responded, “Those long thick eyelashes protect your eyes from the desert sand when it blows in the wind.

The baby thought and thought. Then he said, “I see. So the hump is to store water when we are in the desert, the legs are for walking through the desert and these eye lashes protect my eyes from the desert *_then why are we in the Zoo?”_*

Skills and abilities are only useful if

you are in the right place at the right time.

Please ask God to show you the right place for your life!

Before God created the fishes, he first created the water and spoke to it for the fishes to come out (their place - that's why you will see the true beauty/glory of a fish when swimming). Also, same with the birds, the air was there for them to soar in (you will also see the glory of the bird when flapping her wings).

But when it was the turn for man, God spoke to himself and man was formed from God; that's why the true beauty of a human can be only seen in God.

God is the place for man, if you are outside of God, His will, purpose, plan, etc; it's not late for you to come back. He is the very oxygen to your lungs.

The first place of man is God.

The second place is the physical demography where he has kept for him to excel.

Local investors take charge as foreign investors remain cautious amid FX scarcity

Local investors take charge as foreign investors remain cautious amid FX scarcity Renewed positive sentiments in the global space dominated markets in the month of May as investors’ optimism for a speedy economic recovery continues to support appetite for risky assets. This is also coming on the heels of ease in lockdown and gradual reopening of economic activities. In Nigeria, domestic investors took the driving seat at the nation’s equities market in the month of May as they took positions in cheap and dividend-paying bellwether stocks. On the other hand, foreign investors who are unable to move their funds from the country due to FX scarcity rolled their money back into the equities market. In the month of May, total value of transactions executed by domestic Investors out performed transactions executed by Foreign Investors by 40percent. According to data released by the Nigeria Stock Exchange, total transactions executed between May and April revealed that total domest...

NAIRA WEAKENS TO LOWEST IN THREE YEARS

NAIRA WEAKENS TO LOWEST IN THREE YEARS The Naira yesterday weakened to the lowest in over three years in the parallel market due to increased demand for dollars amid foreign-currency shortages. The local currency depreciated to N495 to a dollar yesterday, lowest since February 23, 2017, widening the gap with the official rate of N379.5 to over 30 per cent. The currency traded in the interbank market at 389.74 as of 4:54p.m. in Lagos. Agency reports quoted traders as alleging a groundswell of diversion of dollars, a development which heightened scarcity of the green back in the parallel market this week. There is a diversion of inflows away from official channels to the parallel market due to the gap in rates, Murega Mungai, trading desk manager for Aza Finance said in a note Thursday. The market spread has created arbitrage opportunities for recipients of remittances such as exporters and private individuals. Pent up demand in the foreign exchange market is not unprecedente...
